Sven Kramer Academy provides daily skating lessons at Het Glijfestijn
Het Glijfestijn is proud to announce an exclusive collaboration with the Sven Kramer Academy. Skating lessons are organized daily from February 10 to February 25 for both children and adults. The specially trained trainers of the Sven Kramer Academy provide these lessons, aimed at enthusiasts who would like to learn the basic skills of skating.
With skating lessons, the Sven Kramer Academy wants to encourage chidren and adults to exercise more actively and contribute to the future of Dutch skating. Sven Kramer, an icon in skating, is grateful for what the sport has brought him. “My dream is that every child has experienced the joy of skating at least once,” says Sven Kramer. With the Sven Kramer Academy he wants to give something back to the sport and inspire young generations.
Children lessons - Fun and basic technique are central to the program for toddlers and youth (4 to 12 years)
Adult lessons - The Sven Kramer Academy also offers a unique lesson program for adults where the basics of a good skating movement are learned.
